The mission of the CPC Austria is to develop a national and international network for Cleaner Production. The network offers the members a beneficial exchange of experiences and the participating companies international market opportunities. The CPC Austria functions as a central contact point and information platform and is responsible for the organisation and administration.

The members of the network come from municipal authorities, scientific institutions, consulting companies and enterprises. A central mission of the network ist to provide assistance with the establishment and development of Public Private Partnerships.

In January 2003 the Styrian Eco-Expert Networkwas founded. It gathers Styrian experts on different aspects of eco-technology. The mutual encouragement in business acquisitions and marketing activities lead to a bundling of forces and enable the participants to offer their customers all-embracing solutions.

In a co-operation with the UN in the framework of UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) and the action ‚Global Compact' the CPC Austria supports the establishment of an international network for sustainable development.
