Founded in 1992 STENUM has become since then one of the leading Austrian Eco-Consulting Enterprises. The success of the projects is based upon comprehensive and innovative solutions which consider always the whole company. Due to many years of experience in the field of environment and the big number of projects carried out with a lot of enterprises on the basis of preventative integrated environmental protection STENUM offers also support in the installation of an Environmental Management System. STENUM was the consultant of the first two Austrian Eco-Audit Companies (Brewery Murau, STEWEAG-public energy utility). In total already 30 enterprises have already or are presently installing an environmental management system with STENUM.

In order to keep this "pole position" in environmental issues STENUM aims at actively accompanying new international developments and at co-operating with partner enterprises in Austria and abroad. Projects carried out by STENUM are highly estimated also on international level. This is shown through the co-operation with global organisations such as the UNIDO.
