Within the framework of the city co-operation between St. Petersburg and Graz a contract was signed between the two cities and the North West International Cleaner Production Centre in St. Petersburg and the CPC Austria. The project is accomplished with the support of the UNIDO-Cleaner Production Programme. The aim is to start an ECOPROFIT® pilot project in St. Petersburg to promote eco-efficiency in companies. Additionally there will be a special training and project development programme for the energy sector. The achieved outcome shall be concrete bilateral business cases in the fields of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency improvement.
