The City of Graz has already received a number of international awards for the project ECOPROFIT®:

The EU awarded Graz as the first European 'Sustainable City' with the "European Sustainable City Award 1996"

At the EXPO 2000 in Hannover ECOPROFIT was presented at the Global House as one of the most successful projects for a sustainable city development

ECOPROFIT was a finalist at the "Bremen Partnership Award Contest" 2001

In 2002 the project received the "Dubai International Award for Best Practices to improve the Living Environment 2002"
